Vietnam and Cambodia are known for their warm, friendly people, their diverse culture and of course, the superb and memorable flavours that come through in their cuisine, which has been largely influenced by Chinese culture over the past few centuries. The harmony of flavours in the foods is an extension of the Yin and Yang concept, balancing the connection between nature and its flavours (salt, bitter, sour, spicy and sweet) with Buddhist enlightenment (water, fire, wood, metal and earth).  This course teaches you to combine the flavours of Vietnam into a tantalising balance of flavour, colour and the simple joys of creating harmony with fresh ingredients.
