Fish is becoming more popular as it cooks quickly and is very versatile, not to mention delicious and nutritious. We’ve recognised that seafood is a good source of protein and rich in healthy oils. South Africa has some unique sea life, as well as some interesting ways of preparing and cooking seafood. This course introduces participants to the various types of fish found on our sea shores, how to prepare it and many different ways of cooking seafood, including Asian, Malay and South African styles of fish preparation, fusion and many other recipes to whet your appetite. We’ll give you the facts and provide the confidence you need to start making fish a more regular part of your home cooking repertoire.
